Disabled Persons Action Organization is hiring for the position of Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, for a total of 35 hours weekly.
After a successful 90-day introductory period, benefits and paid time off will be available.

The Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator will support a participant who self-directs an individualized Medicaid budget.
Such tasks include billing and payment of approved goods and services, fiscal accounting and reporting, Medicaid and Corporate Compliance and general administrative supports.
Exemplary Duties of the Position Include:
* Complete documentation, filing, general office maintenance, routine paperwork and any other paperwork assigned.
* Monitor expenditures to ensure that expenditures do not exceed the budget.
Must review the Monthly Spending Detail Report.
* Assist individuals and the staff for the individual in reviewing and submitting all F.
I.
required documentation.
* Ensure timely staff payments
* Participate in annual and/or semi-annual meetings to discuss issues related to self-directed staffing and/or supports and budget expenditures, as required or as requested.
These meetings will occur on site, and off site.
Mileage will be reimbursed for off-site meetings.
* Assist the person and the circle of support with development of an individualized initial budget plan.
* Assist the person with maintaining and revising the plan, as necessary, work with the individual, Circle of Support and the Medicaid Service Coordinator to help identify and develop initial connections in the community that will support aspects of the Plan/Budget.
* Assist the Individual, Circle of Support, if requested with recruiting, monitoring and hiring self-hired staff.
Ensure attendance as ISP reviews/Quarterly Circle of Support meetings and meets more frequently, if necessary.
*Education/Experience Requirements for Position:*
* _Minimum Education Level: _High School Diploma/GED.
* Associate's degree in business or related field preferred, but not required.
* Must be proficient in using and creating formulas using Microsoft Excel, and possess a general knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications and general computer operations.
* Must possess a valid NYS Driver License, and have reliable transportation to and from work and to and from off-site meetings.
