Duties include, but are not limited to:
Supplement curriculum to inspire children and encourage their social, emotional, and physical growth
Engage in active play, creating a fun and safe environment
Give individual attention to children in classroom and maintain flexibility as to modify the classroom environment to meet the needs of individual children
Care for children ages 6weeks-18 months of age, which includes preparing bottles and meals, changing diapers according to regulation, following developmentally appropriate practices within the classroom, and consoling infants
Maintain organization and cleanliness of classrooms
Maintain child accountability at all times
Partner with parents to support, guide and share in their child's growth and development
Maintain open communication with parents to provide consistency for children
Fill out daily care sheets on a tablet or "what we did today" bulletin
Follow and enforce NYS OCFS child care center regulations
