Bring your Housekeeping and Food Service skills to Hospice of Jefferson County.
The job requires previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
Duties include but are not limited to; purchasing, preparing, serving food to patients and accurately maintaining daily required records.
You will perform routine semi-skilled and skilled housekeeping duties under general supervision.
Operates vacuum cleaner, Tennant floor machine, Vortex UV sanitizer, and light cleaning equipment.
Performs general cleaning duties of all surfaces by performing the following:
* Picks up trash and transports to refuse containers outdoors.

* Terminal Cleaning of patient room upon discharge or death.
* Cleans all areas in residents’ rooms, bathrooms, utility rooms, showers, tub rooms, nurses stations, lounges and common family rooms.

* Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the building and all equipment pertaining to their job.
\*
* Maintains confidentiality, inclusive of HIPAA regulations, of all pertinent patient care information.
\*
* Maintains pertinent records for accountability.
\*
* Other duties may be assigned.
