I have overwintered nucs for sale in Turin, NY, Lewis County.
(One hour north of Utica) I raised the queens from my survivor stock that has overwintered for years here on the farm.
I am offering a 5 frame deep nuc, 2 frames of pollen and honey, 3 frames of brood, all five frames covered with bees.
The queen will be a 2023 mid summer queen.
These queens will be entering their most prolific year.
Timing will of course be weather dependent, but as you will get the overwintered nuc, they should be available by early or mid May.
Cost of Overwintered nucs, $175 plus a $10 box deposit.
A $50 deposit will reserve you a nuc.

My apiary is inspected each year by New York State Inspectors.
I am scheduled for a New York State Inspection again in April.
Disclosure; These hives were all started here on my farm in the summer of 2023.
They are being wintered in a climate controlled room in my bee barn.
I keep it as close to 41 degrees as possible, mostly using ventilation from outdoors.
I am thankful to have completed Cornell's Master Beekeeping Course and received my Master Beekeeping Certificate in September of 2021.
