If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to do in your spare time, consider becoming a volunteer tutor at Literacy of Northern New York.
Join our team at Literacy of NNY and become a volunteer tutor.
You will help an adult improve reading, math or language skills.
The training is online - You meet on Zoom or in person with our staff for a Pre-session, then complete your chosen module.
You meet again on Zoom for a final Post-session.
The training can be done on your schedule.
After completion, you are matched with a student and we provide the materials.
You meet in public places for tutoring sessions.
There is no cost! You can register and take the training anytime.
We serve Jefferson and Lewis Counties.
