Davidson Collision of Watertown is searching for a Parts Department Consultant that will proactively manage the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for Davidson’s Body Shop.
You will work closely with Body Shop Technicians, Customer Service Reps and Estimators.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekly Salary Range: $750 - $800 (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
Order, check in and dispatch parts.
Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries through phone, text and email.
Mirror Match incoming parts for correctness and damage.
Oversee the order, receipt, storage, dispatch and return of all paint & materials, shop supplies and small parts.
Manage the dispatch of parts to technicians on a timely basis.
Oversee the receipt and storage of parts including the process of checking all parts orders and the parts themselves for accuracy and completeness.
Expedite parts and/or search alternative sources when obtaining specific parts is problematic.
Assure that all parts are marked with the RO number and are stored or staged by job and that the order status is clearly noted on all paperwork.
Proactively return all unused parts and ensure that credit is properly received and posted to the repair order.
Proactively communicate with Technicians, Customer Service Reps.
and Estimators regarding part status.
Document all transactions as appropriate, in the computer or management system on a timely basis.
Keep the Parts Department neat and organized.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
Prior Parts work experience required
High School Diploma or the equivalent required
Ability to work independently as well as on a team
Comfort level in learning new computer programs & software
Valid / Clean driver’s license is required
Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
and climb stairs throughout shift as needed
Problem solving mentality
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Professional appearance and a positive attitude
You should possess excellent communication and organizational skills
Some sales experience is helpful
Must be at least 18 years of age
