Home Health Aid Trainee Program

Have you always wanted to work in the medical field but you weren’t sure you could commit to the curriculum? Try our Nurse Aide Trainee program.
You will be hired as a Unit Helper then will go into our *paid* HHA Training Program to get certified as a Home Health Aid.
We are currently looking to fill our next training class.
Availability is very limited.
Here are the details: * $15.
00 starting pay while working as a Unit Helper and during the training program * $17.
55 starting per hour upon completion of the course * Shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd range from an additional $1.
10-1.
50 (once the course is completed) * Unit Helper role is first shift between the hours of 7:30am-4pm * Classes are held M-F 7:30am-4pm for 3 weeks (40-hours a week) * Samaritan covers the cost of the course (to include learning materials, first set of scrubs, and New York State testing fee) Applicants will complete the prescreening questions in Indeed.
Interested candidates will then be invited to complete an application and attend an interview.
If selected to participate in the program, successful applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment as a Unit Helper, will be required to pass NYS Department of Health stipulations, and must pass a pre-employment drug test and employee health physical.
A year commitment is required upon completion of program.
Must be 18 years of age to apply and hold a GED or High School Diploma.
