Duties Performs marketing functional services under the general supervision of the Marketing Manager.
Duties include determining marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance participation, and community awareness of key Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs.
Conducts Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising and keeps track of viable annual events for which to seek commercial sponsorship.
Packages events, develops solicitation packet and solicits sponsorship from local sponsors; negotiating mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and executing all supporting documents.
Coordinates with the installation Staff Judge Advocate to ensure that terms of sponsorship are in accordance with all DA, IMCOM and local regulations and policies.
Attends events and serves as point of contact for sponsors at events.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
Valid State Driver’s License is required.
This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess the following: one (1) year of work experience in developing advertising programs and selling commercial advertising, AND knowledge of Commercial Sponsorship & Advertising Practices, AND the technical skills needed to effectively perform marketing and promotion using tools of the trade and social media, AND ability to communicate both orally and in writing, AND ability to establish a professional rapport with activity managers and sponsor representative of varying management levels.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position.
Night differential has been authorized by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Bargaining NF & CY positions and will be paid at the rate of basic pay plus an additional 10 percent of that rate for all regular scheduled work between the hours of 6:00 p.
m.
and 6:00 a.
m.
(including periods of leave and holidays).
Sunday premium pay has been authorized by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for regular NF & CY bargaining employees and will be paid at the rate of 25% of the employee's basic rate of pay for all hours of a non-overtime tour of duty when any part of the scheduled tour is performed on Sunday (including periods of leave and holidays).
Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will NOT be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
Payband employees in pay levels NF-3 and above, are entitled to receive nonforeign area allowances and differentials in the same amounts and under the same eligibility criteria prescribed for APF employees in the same locality.
