Job Summary
Ready to pave the way to success? Construction and Paving Foreman must be proficient to coordinate daily operations and lead all workers at our construction sites.
As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project.
Must have a solid background in the field.
Main Responsibilities
Coordinate and prioritize tasks according to plans by allocating daily responsibilities
Produce schedules and note attendance of crew
Direct and train workers/tradespeople and monitor the use of equipment
Ordering of materials and scheduling of trucks
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Keep track of expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise
Track quantity yields daily, use accurate conversion factors
Tracking of areas paved using stationing, cross-roads, address in daily diary in Heavy Job
Document sub-grade issues when paving new construction, document with pictures, measurements, etc.
Contact superintendent when such issues arise.
Skills
Proven experience as construction foreman
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, elevations and grades
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to communicate and report optimally
Proficiency in math
Education
Five years of civil construction experience.
High School Diploma or GED Required
Physical Requirements
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods, sometimes in adverse weather conditions
Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE)
Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, airborne particles, and loud noise

Pay Range $30.
00-$52.
00 per hour based on project type.
